I walked by this as well today,when leaving work.
big anti-mubarak protest at the un when i was leaving work today. i’m bad with crowd estimates, but prob close to 1000 demonstrators and hundreds of cops, plainclothes and uniformed.

One year after the quake, recovery efforts continue to face bottlenecks, including an ongoing cholera outbreak. Still, UNICEF and partners have reached millions with vital service, including immunization, therapeutic feeding, schools, and cholera treatment, and are laying the groundwork for long-term rebuilding.
